This year's CEE Rail Operators Forum, organized by Railway Market Forum, was focused on "process efficiency and market consolidation in the times of global crisis".
The meeting, held by Railway Market Forum in Novotel hotel in Warsaw, gathered many representatives of companies and organizations interested in urban rail transport.
During the conference "The Future of Railway Stations in Poland" held by Railway Market Forum, Tomasz Warsza (deputy director of railway department in Ministry of Infrastructure), Paweł Olczyk (PKP SA's member of the board) and Janusz Piechociński (member of Polish parliament) made their speeches.
During the conference "Safety management in railway transport", held by Railway Market Forum, Anders Lundstroem (ERA's safety department director) and Wiesław Jarosiewicz (president of Polish Rail Transport Office) adressed the participants.
Rolling stock investments plans of Mazovian Railways, construction of new "Park&Ride" parkings system, changes in train schedules and enlarging of commonsticket offer were main issues discussed during press breakfast held by Railway Market Forum.
